A recent CNN article titled “The mystery of the missing binder: How a collection of raw Russian intelligence disappeared under Trump” discusses, albeit in a roundabout fashion, former President Donald Trump’s declassified binder.

According to CNN:

“A binder containing highly classified information related to Russian election interference went missing at the end of Donald Trump’s presidency, raising alarms among intelligence officials that some of the most closely guarded national security secrets from the US and its allies could be exposed, sources familiar with the matter told CNN.

“Its disappearance, which has not been previously reported, was so concerning that intelligence officials briefed Senate Intelligence Committee leaders last year about the missing materials and the government’s efforts to retrieve them, the sources said.Continue Reading

The Obama administration, just 17 days before the inauguration of President Donald Trump, revised the guidelines of Section 2.3 of Executive Order 12333, “Procedures for the Availability or Dissemination of Raw Signals Intelligence Information by the National Security Agency.”

Although widely overlooked, the implications were broad and far-reaching.Continue Reading

In a new Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) response, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) now admits that it recommended COVID-19 vaccines for people who had recovered from COVID-19 despite the fact that CDC subject matter experts didn’t have access to the underlying data.Continue Reading

Behind Recent Billions Given to Iran Is a Decade of Failed US Policy

June 5, 2024 by Jeff Carlson, CFA

Originally Published 10/11/23

The Biden administration in recent weeks has received a barrage of criticism for issuing waivers that allow Iran to receive $6 billion in frozen funds that had been held by South Korean banks.

But the $6 billion to Iran is only one piece in a larger story. In order to fully understand the implications of the Biden administration’s appeasement of Iran, one must go further back in time—to the Obama administration’s Iran nuclear deal. It’s from this vantage point that it becomes apparent that President Joe Biden’s more recent actions are really a continuation of the disastrous Iran policy under President Barack Obama.Continue Reading

Hidden Messages in GOP Report Reveal How Scientists Shaped Narrative on COVID-19 Origins

June 5, 2024 by Jeff Carlson, CFA

By Hans Mahncke (originally published on July 12, 2023)

On July 11, we reported that House Republicans released two text messages (pdf) that show that a group of prominent scientists conspired to dismiss the origin of the COVID-19 pandemic in order to protect China.

It has now emerged that those messages are part of a much larger trove that was apparently being held back by House Republicans. The additional messages contain some of the most significant evidence to date that there was an orchestrated coverup of the origins of COVID-19.Continue Reading

‘I Hate When Politics Is Injected Into Science’: Text Messages of Top Scientists Shed Light on COVID Origin Response

June 5, 2024 by Jeff Carlson, CFA

By Hans Mahncke (originally published on July 11, 2023)

A new report released by Republican members of the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic includes new evidence that a group of scientists who received funding from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), conspired to dismiss the origin of the pandemic in order to protect China.

The text messages were exchanged between authors of the Proximal Origin paper, initiated by then-NIAID Director Anthony Fauci, which had the explicit purpose of dismissing the lab leak theory for the pandemic’s origin. The Proximal Origin paper, which declared that no “laboratory-based scenario is plausible,” became one of the most cited science papers of all time and was prominently used by Dr. Fauci as proof that the COVID-19 virus came from nature.Continue Reading

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) recently held a news conference to disclose details contained within an FBI document that alleged millions of dollars paid to members of the Biden family.

Furthermore, Greene alleged that the money was paid in order to shut down a Ukrainian prosecutor’s investigation into Burisma, the Ukrainian energy company where Joe Biden’s son Hunter was a board member.

Meanwhile, on June 12, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), on the floor of the Senate, said that “that the foreign national who allegedly bribed Joe and Hunter Biden allegedly has audio recordings of his conversations with them.” According to the information cited by Grassley, there are “17 total recordings” that acted “as a sort of insurance policy.”Continue Reading

Analyzing the Trump Indictment

June 5, 2024 by Jeff Carlson, CFA

By Hans Mahncke (originally published on June 12, 2023)

On June 9, 2023, special counsel Jack Smith unveiled a 38-count indictment of former President Donald Trump and Waltine Nauta, a personal valet who works at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate. The first 31 counts relate to Trump alone and involve charges under the Espionage Act.

Of the remaining counts, five charge Trump and Nauta jointly with regard to the concealing of documents subject to a grand jury subpoena. The final two counts, one of which charges Trump and the other Nauta, pertain to making false statements. In total, Trump is charged with 37 counts in the indictment and Nauta with six counts.Continue Reading

Scope of FBI’s Use of 702 Section Data on Americans Revealed for 1st Time

June 5, 2024 by Jeff Carlson, CFA

Originally Published 5/31/23

The FBI’s use of warrantless “backdoor searches” of a vast amount of information known as the Section 702 database—which is intended for targeted surveillance of foreign persons located outside the United States—to spy on Americans is far more widespread than previously thought, according to a new report from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI).

Section 702 is a key provision of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) that permits the government to conduct targeted surveillance of foreign persons located outside the United States and is supposed to prevent any surveillance of U.S. citizens.

This massive database contains emails, texts, and phone calls that come from the tech giants, but also comes from the backbone of the internet. It’s one of the most powerful collection and surveillance tools that the Intelligence Community has.Continue Reading

How Much Did Brennan, Obama, and Comey Actually Know Before FBI Opened Investigation Into Trump?

June 5, 2024 by Jeff Carlson, CFA

Originally Published 5/23/23

Few other officials in government had such a large hand in establishing and promoting the Russia-Collusion Hoax as did former CIA Director John Brennan.

Brennan admitted during congressional testimony that he “made sure that anything involving the individuals involved in the Trump campaign was shared with the FBI.” And by his own admission, Brennan even used incidental collection of U.S. citizens in the process, telling Rachel Maddow that “any time we would incidentally collect information on a U.S. person, we would hand that over to the FBI.”

With the release of the report by special counsel John Durham, we now know that Brennan knew back in July 2016, even before the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane case into the Trump campaign was opened, that the entire Russia-Collusion narrative was a hoax.Continue Reading
