I’ve been working on another more lengthy post, but decided it worthy to pause for a quick update as much is transpiring.

The Daily Caller is reporting that Devin Nunes has received all Department of Justice and FBI documents it possesses on the Trump Dossier. I’ve not yet seen secondary confirmation.

The committee was able to review Friday all FBI and DOJ documents on the Trump dossier, former MI-6 British agent Christopher Steele who authored the dossier, and Fusion GPS, the political opposition firm that hired Steele. DOJ also provided any Obama administration applications to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court based on the dossier, which could approve the surveillance of the Trump transition team or Trump associates, according to a source with direct knowledge of the case.Continue Reading

Clinton’s Refusals – IG Linick’s Clinton Testimony

Some old video footage from a July 7, 2016 House Oversight Committee recently resurfaced regarding Clinton’s email server. You can find the full transcript here.

Of particular interest were three separate exchanges.

The first exchange between Chairman Jason Chaffetz and State Department Inspector General Steve Linick, a second between Representative Gowdy and Linick, and finally, a third between Representative Grothman and Linick.

As you watch the videos and read the transcripts, recall that the Inspector General Empowerment Act – something current DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz fought long and hard to obtain – had not yet been passed into law.

Had the Inspector General Empowerment Act been law at this point, State Department IG Linick might have been able to produce a very different outcome with ex-Secretary of State Clinton.Continue Reading

Surreal Revelations from the Mueller Investigation

The revelations keep on coming.

On December 4, 2017, in The Inspector General’s Quiet Investigation, I discussed how the uncovering of demoted FBI Agent Peter Strzok’s activities was tied to a little noticed – but crucial – investigation by Michael Horowitz, the Inspector General.

The details surrounding Strzok were not only alarming – they verged on the unbelievable. That one man could be involved in so many utterly crucial aspects of events over the past 18 months seemed difficult to accept.

Emerging Details, Damning Timelines & the Obama Administration’s Complicity

The FBI’s weaponization by the Obama Administration. The partisan, and quite possibly illegal acts by the Department of Justice. Manipulation of the FISA Court. The Inspector General’s Quiet Investigation

Yesterday, as part of a larger post, I wrote these words:

Via an orchestrated FBI leak, a get-in-front-of-the-news Washington Post article was released yesterday:

The former top FBI official assigned to special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s probe of Russian interference in the 2016 election was taken off that job this summer after his bosses discovered he and another member of Mueller’s team had exchanged politically charged texts disparaging President Trump and supporting Hillary Clinton.

Peter Strzok, as deputy head of counterintelligence at the FBI, was a key player in the investigation into Clinton’s use of a private email server to do government work as secretary of state, as well as the probe into possible coordination between the Trump campaign and Russia in the 2016 election.

During the Clinton investigation, Strzok was involved in a romantic relationship with FBI lawyer Lisa Page, who worked for Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.

The Post article – along with an accompanying NYT piece, was released only when it became clear that details of an ongoing Inspector General Investigation into the matter would be forthcoming.

An Empty Flynn Investigation & Obama-Clinton Complicity

General Michael Flynn, former National Security Advisor to President Trump, plead guilty to lying to the FBI regarding his conversations with Russia’s ambassador to the United States.

Flynn is pleading guilty to a one-count criminal information. The Statement of the Offense may be found here.

The false-statement charge stems from Flynn’s conversations on December 22, 2016 and December 29, 2016, with Russian ambassador Sergei Kislyak. The first conversation was about an anti-Israel resolution that the Obama administration abstained from, while the second conversation involved sanctions on Russia.Continue Reading
