Attorney General Jeff Sessions formally fired Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe on Friday, March 16, 2018.
From Sessions statement:
After an extensive and fair investigation and according to Department of Justice procedure, the Department’s Office of the Inspector General (OIG) provided its report on allegations of misconduct by Andrew McCabe to the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR).
The FBI’s OPR then reviewed the report and underlying documents and issued a disciplinary proposal recommending the dismissal of Mr. McCabe. Both the OIG and FBI OPR reports concluded that Mr. McCabe had made an unauthorized disclosure to the news media and lacked candor − including under oath − on multiple occasions.Continue Reading
My frustration is not that the reporting on Trump has been too tough, but that the reporting on the Obama administration has been way too soft or in some cases nonexistent. – Peter Schweizer
In December of 2013, Vice President Biden and his son Hunter Biden flew to China on Air Force Two.
Ten days after the trip, a subsidiary of the Bank of China signed a deal with Hunter Biden’s investment firm, Rosemont Seneca Partners, to form a $1 billion joint-venture investment fund called Bohai Harvest RST.

Victoria Nuland’s name keeps turning up.
Nuland is the former Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs – serving under John Kerry at Obama’s State Department
I’ve written about Nuland here and here.
It now appears that in mid-2016, Nuland gave the green light for FBI Agent Michael Gaeta to meet with Christopher Steele in London.Continue Reading
I wrote on the role of Alexandra Chalupa – a Ukrainian-American DNC operative – who appears at the center of the DNC’s construction of information used in the Steele Dossier.
The role of former Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland in disseminating the Dossier – along with her involvement in shaping Ukraine – was also discussed.
The name Victor Pinchuk was mentioned.Continue Reading
On February 4, 2018, Victoria Nuland, the Assistant Secretary of State in the Obama Administration went on Face the Nation and made the following comment:
During the Ukraine crisis in 2014-15, Chris Steele had a number of commercial clients who were asking him for reports on what was going on in Russia, what was going on in Ukraine, what was going on between them. Chris had a friend [Jonathan Winer] at the State Department and he offered us that reporting free so that we could also benefit from it. It was one of, you know, hundreds of sources that we were using to try to understand what was going on.
Then, in the middle of July, when he was doing this other work and became concerned, he passed two to four pages of short points of what he was finding and our immediate reaction to that was, this is not in our purview. This needs to go to the FBI if there is any concern here that one candidate or the election as a whole might be influenced by the Russian Federation. That’s something for the FBI to investigate.Continue Reading
There’s been an increasing number of requests for the appointment of a second Special Counsel to investigate FISA abuse, the Clinton Email Investigation, the Trump-Russia Investigation, the activities of the FBI & DOJ – and the involvement of the Obama Administration.Continue Reading
Mark Levin hosted an interview with Devin Nunes.
The exchange between the two was fascinating.
Levin walked through sequences, establishing fact sets and building a de facto legal case.
The video was posted in three parts. I highlight portions from each.Continue Reading
