Jeff Flake’s Capitulation, Democrat Delay Tactics, and the Strategic Addition of Lawyer Bromwich
During Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings, Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee have repeatedly called for an FBI Investigation of events surrounding Dr. Ford’s claim that she was sexually assaulted by Kavanaugh when they were both in high school.
Judge Kavanaugh has already been through six FBI background investigations, including one for his nomination to the Supreme Court. The others occurred as Kavanaugh was appointed to previous significant positions.Continue Reading
The Unexpected FBI Background of Christine Ford’s Friend
On Oct. 2, 2018, Senator Grassley (R-Iowa) sent a letter to the attorneys for Christine Blasey Ford—who has publicly accused Judge Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her while in high school—with a request for material evidence in three specific areas. The first request pertained to “notes from therapy sessions in which Dr. Ford discussed the alleged assault.”
In his letter, Grassley noted that some of these notes have already been provided to The Washington Post, thereby invalidating Ford’s attorneys’ claims of “private, highly sensitive information” as the reason for not providing the evidence.Continue Reading
Why We’re Unlikely to See an October Surprise
There are several material investigations underway, most notably that of Department of Justice (DOJ) Inspector General Michael Horowitz and special counsel Robert Mueller.
Horowitz is looking into alleged FISA abuses on the part of the FBI, DOJ, and others, while Mueller is continuing the FBI’s investigation into alleged collusion between Russia and President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign.Continue Reading
Comey’s Testimony: Truth or Lies?
Key revelations from former FBI director’s testimony
The recent congressional testimony by former FBI Director James Comey has caused no shortage of outrage over his lack of recollection and ongoing deflections.
But lost within that outrage have been a number of important facts that were actually communicated during his testimony.
Comey’s interview was notably not under oath, but he was required by law to answer questions from Congress truthfully, which has suddenly gained material weight after special counsel Robert Mueller prosecuted former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen, for lying to Congress.Continue Reading
Four Major Blows to the Credibility of the Steele Dossier
With the current flow of news it’s become easy to miss some intriguing details that serve to highlight an underlying theme: The Steele Dossier has been debunked.
Christopher Steele is currently involved in litigation in a British Court where he is being sued for defamation by three Russian bankers for claims Steele made in the Dossier that Alfa Bank had meaningful ties to Russian Leader Vladimir Putin. In his most recent responses to the Court, Steel made a rather startling admission:Continue Reading
The SpyGate Scandal: What We Learned in 2018
2018 proved to be a year of numerous revelations that provided clarity regarding events leading up to—and following—the 2016 presidential election.
It is now clear that elements within the FBI, the CIA, the Department of Justice (DOJ), and the State Department were actively working against the Trump campaign, and that these elements continued to work against President Donald Trump’s administration following his surprise win.Continue Reading
Former CIA Contractor Nellie Ohr Provided Husband at DOJ With Russia Research
Testimony reveals Ohr sought job at Fusion GPS; emails reveal she frequently sent Russia research to Bruce Ohr and other DOJ officials
Two key players in the FBI’s investigation of Donald Trump were husband and wife Bruce and Nellie Ohr.
Bruce Ohr was the highest ranking career official at the Department of Justice (DOJ) at the time, and Nellie Ohr was at the time working for Fusion GPS—the firm hired by the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee to produce the so-called Steele dossier on Donald Trump.
In congressional testimonies reviewed by the Epoch Times, both Bruce and Nellie Ohr testified separately to congressional investigators last year that they had minimal contact with each other about their work, which could have posed an inherent conflict of interest.
Newly released documents and emails obtained by Judicial Watch, however, show that Nellie emailed Bruce dozens of times about Russia-related topics between October 2015 and September 2016. Nellie also routinely included several other DOJ officials in these communications.Continue Reading
UK Intel Agencies Frame Spygate Involvement Ahead of Trump’s Declassification
The Telegraph published two separate articles detailing their version of when the heads of UK intelligence were briefed about the contents of former MI6 agent Christopher Steele’s dossier of claims about Donald Trump’s ties to Russia.
According to The Telegraph, the UK spy chiefs were briefed before President Trump was made aware of their existence by former FBI Director James Comey, but notably after the 2016 presidential election had taken place:
“The heads of MI5 and MI6 and one of Mrs. [Prime Minister Theresa] May’s most trusted security advisers were told about former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele’s memos on the Trump campaign in the weeks after his November 2016 election victory.”Continue Reading
Should Antifa Be Designated a Domestic Terror Group?
Andy Ngo, a Portland, Oregan, based editor & photo-journalist for Quillette, was assaulted and hospitalized by masked and hooded far-left Antifa extremists on Saturday.
Ngo, who has extensively documented violence by Antifa, had written on Twitter a day earlier that he was nervous about the coming rally, noting that Antifa members had been “promising ‘physical confrontation’ & have singled me out to be assaulted.”
Following the assault, Ngo was hospitalized with multiple contusions, a black eye, and a torn earlobe. He also suffered a brain bleed that required overnight hospitalization. Ngo posted a video of himself moments after the attack, appearing shaken and covered in a white substance. Portland police later said that Antifa was mixing quick-drying cement into milkshakes to be thrown at those they targeted. It is not known if Ngo was hit with one of these mixtures.Continue Reading
