Assistant Attorney General Stephen Boyd sent a letter to House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes yesterday.
Boyd is responsible for managing the DOJ’s relationship with Congress – which is one reason why he was the one writing the letter.
There were other reasons as well.Continue Reading
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu showcased the results of an impressive intelligence operation by Mossad agents earlier this week.
55,000 pages of documents and another 55,000 files on 183 CDs – a half ton of documents.
The documents provide definitive proof that Iran has been lying to the International Community from beginning.Continue Reading
I started my day with the ridiculousness of mainstream reporters in an uproar over President Trump feeding Koi with Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
What upset these shining beacons of journalistic integrity was a video of President Trump seemingly – and unceremoniously – dumping his entire box of Koi food into the pond.
Except that’s not what happened.Continue Reading
While the meeting was described by former FBI Director James Comey as a ‘defensive briefing,’ it was used to gain information from Trump, new IG report reveals
Former FBI Director James Comey’s first meeting with then-President-elect Donald Trump appears to have been part of the agency’s counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign.
Comey has described the Jan. 6, 2017, briefing at Trump Tower as a defensive briefing intended to inform the president-elect of salacious allegations contained in the so-called “Steele dossier.”
He had testified to Congress on June 8, 2017, that he “was briefing [Trump] on it because, because we had been told by the media it was about to launch. We didn’t want to be keeping that from him. He needed to know this was being said. I was very keen not to leave him with an impression that the bureau was trying to do something to him.”
Comey’s testimony to Department of Justice (DOJ) Inspector General Michael Horowitz, as part of the agency’s investigation into Comey, however, paints a different picture.Continue Reading
Those who’ve followed me for a bit or are readers of my blog are probably aware I’m fully in favor of free trade. I’m also in favor of President Trump’s use of tariffs as a negotiating tool.Continue Reading
John Carlin was an Assistant Attorney General – and Head of the Department of Justice’s National Security Division (NSD).
On September 27, 2016, Carlin announced his resignation. He formally left the NSD on October 15, 2016. Carlin had been named Acting Assistant Attorney General in March 2013 and was confirmed in the spring of 2014.
Carlin had previously served as chief of staff to then-FBI Director Robert S. Mueller.
Carlin was replaced with Mary McCord – who would later accompany Acting Attorney General Sally Yates to see White House Counsel Don McGahn regarding General Michael Flynn.
Carlin announced his resignation exactly one day after he filed the Government’s proposed 2016 Section 702 certifications.Continue Reading
“Socialism will triumph by first capturing the culture via infiltration of schools, universities, churches and the media by transforming the consciousness of society” – Antonio Gramsci

“Every State is a dictatorship” – Antonio Gramsci
Our nation has been pushed inexorably towards the left for decades. Has this been caused by a simple evolutionary process – a normal outcome of a wealthy and successful society falling into middle age? Or does it have some deeper cause – a more active agent of change?
This question seems to of particular relevance today as the Cultural Wars have broken open – Progressives in near-hysteria, protests ongoing. Watching these events unfold I am reminded of a simple truth.
The present always has a past.Continue Reading
Stefan Halper played a role in the establishment of the Trump-Russia Investigation.
But let’s be clear.
Halper wasn’t “inside” the Trump Campaign. Halper used intentionally manufactured meetings and contacts with Papadopoulos and Page to create perceived associations with Russia.Continue Reading
You have to hand it to him. Adam Schiff has done a pretty good job of using outright, bald faced deception to make it sound like Devin Nunes has done something wrong – and that President Trump is therefore also guilty. But it’s starting to unravel.
Devin Nunes handled the whole info thing somewhat clumsily from a public perspective but he may well have had little choice.
Before you proceed further you may wish to revisit two earlier pieces; Wiretaps, Russians & the New York Times, and The Left’s Russian Hypocrisy.
Let’s start at the beginning.
Devin Nunes and Adam Schiff are both members of the Gang of Eight. The Gang of Eight is made up of the leaders of the Republican and Democratic parties from both the House and Senate, along with head members of House and Senate Intelligence Committees. Specifically, House and Senate members holding the following positions are automatically members of the Gang of Eight:Continue Reading
